*The staff at TAE apologizes for the temporary lack of content. As much as we'd like to be spilling our minds' thoughts all over the site every day, we're often busy assuming our roles at US Soccer and free time to write is hard to come by. We appreciate all of your patience and support!*
We know what you're thinking - Where do I start? So let's give you a quick tour. Currently, you're on The Away End's home page, the starting point, and occasional host of some of our ranging features. You'll know all about them first if you follow our social media outlets:
Now, let's give you the run down of our columns...
First up we have The Home Front. This page is one of our flagship columns on the site. Its articles are crammed full of topics that should matter to the American soccer fan. Here we hone in on the issues that hit closest to home as the United States vies to become an elite footballing nation.
Next is Quixote's Corner. Spanish football is wildly entertaining theater with a cast of heroes, villains, thieves, mercenaries, and traitors. That's why we've dedicated a column to tackle new points of juicy conflict on a weekly basis. Viva La Liga.
The Shaky Stool is the story of you told by us. This narrative column contains first-hand accounts of the growing soccer pub culture in the United States. We like to call it the modern portrait of the American soccer junkie. Beer in hand, we hope to be coming to a bar near you. First round on us.
If you didn't like to read about the beautiful game, you wouldn't be here. The Bookshelf is our column to aggravate your soccer addiction. On this page we review some of our favorite bits on soccer literature and recommend them to you. We've even been kind enough to provide links to where you can get your own copy.
